The Prince Claus Concert 2024 will take place in De Nieuwe Kolk in Assen on Friday, March 22. It is a classical concert, starting at 20.00 and lasting until approximately 22:30. Music will be provided by the Hanze Symphony Orchestra, consisting of students from the Prince Claus Conservatory (Groningen), conducted by Arthur Arnold. The concert will open with works by Dukas and Kodaly. Before intermission, the orchestra will play the Concertino for Tuba and String Orchestra by Dutch composer Jan Koetsier with PCC alumnus Matthijs Leffers as soloist. After intermission, enjoy Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony.
