Bartelds Corner, infamous for its danger, was one of the most challenging sections of the old TT circuit. Many riders lost control here. TT legends like Piet van Wijngaarden and Geert Timmer made their names in this treacherous corner. Eventually, the corner became too dangerous with the increasing speed of motorcycles.
