Sometimes there are moments that remain in mind. An initially ordinary day, that suddenly nestles in the memory as a warm reminder. Visiting gallery Wildevuur can be such a moment.

Granted, the location - the vast Hiemstrastate estate - can be called idyllic. And yes, the manor in which the gallery is situated is one of the most beautiful national monuments and paragon of the Amsterdam School architecture in the Netherlands. But you probably want to buy art, and then it's the impressive collection of realistic art that makes a memorable introduction. Welcome!

Since 1984, the gallery that covers three floors has been housed in the manor  designed in 1922 for a prosperous corn merchant. With passion and disciplined regularity, Philip Wildevuur and Pascalle Verhees organize exhibitions with the latest artworks of figurative artists who are now making a name for themselves, or have done so already. You can buy art of the highest quality. This gallery is not only a meeting place for artists and audience but also a benchmark for art lovers and collectors.

In addition to the changing exhibitions in the manor there is always a large collection of paintings and sculptures on display in one of the outbuildings on the estate.
