What was it like in Drenthe in 1883? How did people live and what kind of work did they have? Around Emmen, Hoogeveen and Zweeloo, you can follow three different signposted routes.

Viewing panels and murals

Each route is about 50 kilometres long. You can cycle each route separately or combine them as one long route. The routes are marked with special signs and will take you past viewing panels with listening stories and large murals.
